Mae said she was going to turn herself in because Osha is alive, but then evades and runs away at every chance, she tries to kill Jecki and runs. Mae then leaves Osha for dead and steals her identity for absolutely no reason, as if no other force user will be able to tell who is who by sensing it in the force..? What is her character's story or motivation for any of her actions?? *WHO IS WRITING THIS???*

people may have enjoyed it more, but it isn't the least awful episode to date. the characters were idiots, the choreography was almost as good as the TLJ throne room scene. but as bad as it is, you then have to consider the events of episode 2 and that then makes it all the worse

What he misses is that history is full of such horseshoe nails and lost kingdoms -- to paraphrase Andy Warhol, in the future everyone is The Mule for 15 minutes. The very best book I've ever read on the subject is Connie Willis' hilarious and charming _To Say Nothing of the Dog,_ which won a Hugo award back when those were worth something.

Mae's whiplash motivation changes are actually explicable. When Mae strings up a Sith Lord with a simple snare, she doesn't know he's a Sith Lord. She just thinks he's her geeky weird trail-companion, a fellow underling of her Master. She also thinks that she's so far away from everything that her Master won't be able to track her down ... so instead of staying on her revenge trip, she decides to turn Republic's Evidence and then take off after her sister (whose murder seemed like much of the motive for Mae's revenge trip anyway, somehow) (who she now knows is alive!). After she's strung up the only other ally of her Master on the planet, she thinks she's got it made! Then she walks ten minutes down the trail to Wookie-hut and finds her potential savior stone dead of a lightsaber slash that's *still smoking.* Who killed the Wookie? She jumps, quite reasonably, to the conclusion that either her Master or one of his agents must have done it and the smoking wound tells her that they're likely still very close. So instead of her Master not being able to find her ... he's breathing down her neck *right now.* Time for a change of plan and a change of attitude! She still thinks she can bluff her way out of this and claim she's loyal, just very bad at this revenge-thingy. (Why her trail-companion wouldn't eventually go home and tattle on her isn't clear ... unless she *planned* on leaving him strung up until he died. *That's* stone cold evil and an *excellent* start on getting on well with her new Jedi friends!) She doesn't realize how badly she's screwed the pooch until she sees Mr. Nameless Sith Lord unmasked and realizes she's confessed *everything* to him already ... So many commentators have mentioned Mae's crazy jump from baddie, to ally, and back to baddie as something inexplicable. I don't blame them ... who trusts the show to have *reasons* for things? We've been fed so much pointless stupidity already! But when they do manage to bash a few things into making some sort of sense, it's polite to mention it.

They seem to be using or implying zipper mouth is using cortosis metal armor that in the old expanded universe it sorts out lightsabers temporarily, and can take a couple hits. Sad cause this signifies someone ACTUALLY knows the lore, so that means THEY ON PURPOSE THREW ANYTHING THEY WANTED OUT. TRASH, and EGOS the size of this shows budget.
